Youth With Hope (YOWIHO) is a Youth-Led Non Profitable community based organization with the following regulatory bodies in Uganda; District registrar, Community Development Officer, Department of Social Welfare (DSW). The aim of the organization is helping underprivileged to bridge the Developmental gap that exists between the more endowed communities to the less ones to meet the ever-growing challenges of this world.
Other Objectives
  1. To fight child abuse of any kind e.g Physical, Emotional, and Psychological.
  2. To equip youth, & teenager mother with Vocational skills providing reproductive    health information
  3. To reduce the incidence of HIV/AIDS & Support those affected & infected.
  4. To rebuild the relation ship between parents & Children.
  5. To promote Youth & Develop talents & it will be used as a sensitization too
  6. To promote safer sexual behavior among youth through life skills.
  7. To support Youth agricultural activities
  8. To teach Youth how to conserve environment & appreciate God’s work.

The organisation is envisioned to promote the general welfare of youth/children while ensuring their full utilization in the development of human resources as full participants in all facets of national development working towards total elimination of all social and cultural practices tending to discriminate against and dehumanize the youth/children in Uganda.

YOWIHO has been in existence since the year 2000 but was formally registered in 2011

General Objectives

  1. To foster collaboration among persons and with institutions engaged in Advocating in Child/Youth Rights, Child Survival, Youth Reproductive Health and Girl Child Education.
  2. To improve and extend youth services and work to enhance and demonstrate youth participation in the society.
  3. To protect, promote and preserve the sexual and reproductive health of young people by educating them in matters relating to sexual behaviour, contraception, sexual transmitted infections and unwanted pregnancies.
  4. To assist rural communities in development of matters relating to their health, sustainable environment and water and sanitation.
  5. HIV/AIDS prevention and Care & Support for People Infected and Affected by HIV/AIDS.
